An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Fear and Hope

March 15, 2020 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

My Age Of Anxiety by Scott Stossel.  The book screamed at me from the shelf.  Happens all the time.

Only a few pages in, but given the climate of fear and hope in our nation it seems like it might deem appropriate.

Having struggled with anxiety during my life I find it interesting that in the subtitle is also the word hope.

My favorite word.

In 2010 a study was completed by Harvard University and Google and at that time there were 1,022,000 words being used, which grows by several thousand each year.

Even if I knew all 1,022,000 words, the word I hold on to, I associate with, relate to and desperately try to maintain is…hope.

Not exactly sure where Scott Stossel’s book will take me this week but I am certainly willing to take the journey.
