An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Structurally Impossible…But There They Stand

May 21, 2019 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

Some of these structures date back to 7,000 B.C.  And they continue to stand in this present day.

Many in Europe and other parts of the world.

With no technology and few resources other than the strength of men how could this be achieved?

Dolmen – a megalithic tomb with a large flat stone laid on upright stones some weighing forty to sixty tons.

Yet, with the ingenuity of the human spirit and the ability to rally people together in unity many of these structures still stand today.

The why I understand.  A place of burial and remembrance.

But the who and the how is beyond my grasp of comprehension.

What can be accomplished with a dedicated group of people if no one told you it was impossible?

“There is nothing impossible to him who will try.”  Alexander The Great

Be open to the impossible and maybe some 10,000 years from now someone will be awed by your present day accomplishments.
