“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?”
Thought provoking, inspiring and an insightful observation as to how our present culture is viewed.
Everything that is, it is not. And what it is, it would not be.
Here’s another quote.
“What we need in the hour of trial, and what we should seek by earnest prayer, is confidence in Him who sees the end from the beginning and doeth all things well.”
Also a thought provoking and inspiring quote…but…
…who sees the end from the beginning and our entire life even before the day of our birth?
Who could do that?
And in the days between the beginning and the end they could lay out our lives and see everything in the middle, as though it was designed for a specific purpose.
The first quote?
A contemporary present day global leader?
Those famous words were spoken by The Mad Hatter in Lewis Carroll’s classic, Alice in Wonderland.
The second quote?
That quote is from the eulogy for young Willie Lincoln, son of Abraham Lincoln, as written and spoken by Dr. Phineas Gurley.
It is rare that we see our life from beginning to end…even though the days have been well planned.
