The Wrong End of the Telescope

July 20, 2018 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

Telescope

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of the telescope.” Dr. Seuss

The wrong end of the telescope.

It pushes the image so much further away than it truly is.

If it is a problem, and we look at the problem through the right end of the telescope, the problem is magnified.

Making it so much larger than it is.

So, just a simple thought.

Look at life through the right end of the telescope and your problems through the wrong end.

Isn’t that the way we should look at life?

For our problems to become much, much smaller.

Hmm…

So, actually, the wrong end is the right end.

It’s all about perspective.
