An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Expect Great Things

July 12, 2018 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

expect-great-things-1Though I do not know where it will arrive from, nor what will cause it to happen, I feel a breathtaking moment of life headed straight for me.

The feeling literally came out of nowhere.

A small feeling of expectation turned into a tidal wave of excitement in less than a moment.

You may get these as well from time to time.

Yours could be a day maybe like any other day.

Then, when you are not even looking for a strong sense of excitement for the future, there it is.

We cannot linger in the past, nor even get caught up in present, because it is not where we have been, not even where we are…life is all about where we are going.

Which leads me to ask this question?

Where are you going?

Not ten years from now, not even five years from now.

Where is your life headed in the next five minutes?

Where have your set your immediate direction?

Because the next five minutes will affect the next five years which certainly will affect the next ten years.

Be expectant.

Regardless of your age or your position in life, be expectant.

Take a moment or the next five and set your future toward a horizon of expectation.

As it happened with me, I do not know where it will arrive from, nor what will cause it to happen, but I feel like, I expect that, I am about to experience a breathtaking moment in my life.

You should expect nothing less than the same.
