“O, with what freshness, what solemnity and beauty, is each new day; as if to say to insensate man, “Behold! thou hast one more chance! Strive for immortal glory.” Harriet Beecher Stowe
Earlier today, I sent a text message or email to five people individually, and it began with, “As you start your day, I wanted you to know that…”
In each one I wrote something specific to their life.
Something that I was proud of them for, thanking them for something they did, encouraging them toward something they will accomplish later today, etc.
It’s Sunday night and maybe not the most exciting time of the week.
For some, it may be the beginning of a challenging week ahead.
You can help someone get their week started in a positive manner.
As you start this new week, pick five people, which may or may not be your closest relationships, and send them a message or email, that says, “As you start your day, I wanted you to know that…”
And then communicate to them what you wanted them to know.
However, if we each do this, many people, can be encouraged, appreciated and be prepared for the rest of the week as well.
Because of you.
You can set the tone for yourself and for someone else for the week and for weeks to come.
“Anxious hearts are very heavy, but a word of encouragement does wonders!” King Lemuel of Massa
