Living Out An Almost Life (Or Do You Want A Chance To Change The World?)

“Do you want to spend the rest of your life selling sugared water, or do you want a chance to change the world?” Steve Jobs asking John Sculley

In 2012, I was totally caught up with the book, Steve Jobs, by Walter Isaacson.

The above quote and question was how Steve Jobs convinced John Sculley to join Apple at that time.

John Sculley was the head of Pepsi, very successful, a global name, yet, something about the possibility of changing the world caused John Sculley to re-evaluate.

Maybe we should all stop and ask ourselves this question, “Do You want to spend the rest of your life (you fill in this part), or do you want a chance to change the world?”

If you ask yourself that question, it will give you a sobering look at where you are and what you really want to do with the rest of your life.
