An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

The Midnight Hour (What A Difference A Day Makes)

July 16, 2015 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

MidnightMy sister in law has been going through a tedious and frustrating job search.

Most of us have been through a similar experience.

Having gone through two separate periods of unemployment I have been at the place of literally covering my head with the covers and not wanting to get out of the bed.

However, we do and we continue to fight.

We hope.

We trust.

We endure.

We continue.

Just this week my sister in law sent me this text.

It read, “What a difference a day makes.  The employer just called to say they didn’t come to terms with their initial candidate and offered it to me.  When she offered me the job – I was stunned and said, “Late in the midnight hour…”  She replied, “God’s gonna work it all out.”

God is never surprised.

He is already working on tomorrow today.

The “midnights” in our lives is when God does His greatest miracles on our behalf.

God is the difference that makes the events of today a miracle.
