Marilyn Monroe
An insight into the human condition.
I am this, but not that.
I do this, but I am not the worst.
I am this trying to find that.
When we enter the world the search begins for someone to love.
Our search can take us on a most interesting path at times, and we also feel very small in a bigger than life world, but our search for love never ceases.
Some might call it a God shaped hole.
Others might call it a search for personal significance.
Even others might refer to it as a search for the other half of their own soul.
To find the other half is the success of life, another might add.
Money will not complete the other half.
Fame will not complete the other half.
If anyone would know that, it would be Marilyn Monroe, who inspired the song by Bernie Taupin and Elton John, Candle In The Wind.
“It seems to me you lived your life like a candle in the wind, never knowing who to cling to when the rain set in.”
Every person has a heart that only God can fill.
Every person has a soul that only God can complete.
God offers the love that we each seek to find.
People are generally good but they’re not angels.
People sin but they are certainly not the devil.
At times we do feel very small in a big, big world.
God is the someone and the love we are looking for.
So true..
