An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Soap Box Saturday

May 2, 2015 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

WalkingI do not put a lot of personal stuff on my blog, but, every now and then, I just want to encourage people toward fitness.

This morning, being a Saturday, at our company gym, I had the best workout of my week.

Hold on while I get my soap box set up.

I hit the gym 6 out of 7 days.

At just the right moment, 11:24 a.m., I had a burst of energy which allowed me to finish strong.

When the Bible speaks of the body being the temple of the Lord, why do we allow our temple to be in such disrepair?

Beyond that, outside of being hit by a plane falling out of the sky, which you can not prevent, why not give your body a chance at a longer life with regular exercise, a balanced diet and a mental approach of a positive attitude.

Give God as many good healthy years as you can to work through you.

Okay, I am putting the soap box away now.

John
