“Isn’t it nice to think that tomorrow is a new a day with no mistakes in it?” L.M. Montgomery – Anne of Green Gables
Earlier this evening, I texted someone, “It’s a new day.”
Well almost, in a few hours it will be.
Today is the dawning of tomorrow and tomorrow is a perfect day already with no mistakes in it.
The person I was texting had made some decisions that they felt might alienate those they were closest to.
I thought nonsense.
Once the human nature subsides in the other person, and the God within his friends began to rise up, they would know that his decision made complete God sense.
Not good sense.
But God sense.
If each of us enter each day with God sense then how can it be anything but a bright new day every day.
I should listen to my own advice, in being part of a new day in that we should give people room when they are working out some stuff in their life.
Give them a moment to sort and process.
And encourage them toward the new day.
A new day filled with productive activity.
A new day where the gift one has can touch dozens of people at one time.
Don’t be the person that causes them to dread the forthcoming day.
Be the person that pushes them headlong into it.
Be the person that when they are saying, “Whoa, whoa!”, you are saying, “Go! Go!”
Be the person that when they say, “I can’t.”, you say, “Not only you can, you will!”
Be the first person to encourage them in the morning with a cup of coffee and a kiss and the last person to encourage them at night with a massage.
Be the new day they anticipate.
Be the new day they expect.
Be the new day for someone.
