For a couple of days now, I have been thinking as to how to end this series.
Only a few moments ago, while looking for another verse, I came across this verse in the second chapter of Lamentations.
Lamentations is the book of lamenting.
In the nineteenth verse, it says, “Rise in the night and cry to your God. Pour out your hearts like water to the Lord.”
That is the description of a naked heart before God.
Crying out and pouring out…before God.
With nothing withheld.
With absolutely nothing hidden.
Just you, God and your naked heart.
