An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Beautiful Yet Impassable…Or So We Think

February 11, 2015 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

winter ice bridgeGiven the picture to the right I would guess whomever photographed the bridge and surrounding trees was taken by it’s beauty.

I would also guess that the same person who took the picture did not attempt to cross the icy bridge on foot or by car.

It is simply too dangerous and the footing and traction would be minimal and treacherous yet straight.

At times the most beautiful path is the most dangerous path.

Yet we are drawn by it’s beauty and we attempt to cross the bridge and continue the journey in spite of the danger.

“In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”  Proverbs 3:6 (ESV)

At some point you may have to cross a dangerous bridge in life.

Do not worry.

The same God who allowed the danger also created the bridge.
