As part of an ongoing training program with the company I work for, Soliant Health, the training managers for a specific session, has as part of this session to show a scene from the movie, Facing The Giants, called the “Death Crawl” scene.
In the scene a high school player is blindfolded and told to carry a fellow player on his back for as far as he could go.
Initially, the player doing the death crawl thought he would be able to last thirty yards, possibly fifty.
The point of the drill was to show him and the rest of the team that you can go further than you ever dreamed possible, if you are willing to give it everything within you.
He ended going the entire length of the field.
The only limitations we have in our lives are the ones we place their ourselves.
“Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of — infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes.” Ephesians 3:20
