Honest to goodness, when my eyes opened, I did not think what time is it, or anything else.
This thought awaited me from my arousal from sleep, and was so strong and immediate.
“A perfectly happy family. Who would wish for them anything less?”
Maybe, it came from this experience.
Yesterday, as I was walking, I passed through a park.
There was a father, mother and two children.
I am not very good at guessing ages.
A young family, parents probably in their thirties.
They smiled, they laughed.
As I passed by, I thought, “What would it say of me, if I looked at that family and wanted anything less than the best for them.”
Then I kept going, probably never to see them again.
And except for the memory, that is how it should be.
Some do not like the word “wishes”.
Personally, I have always liked it, because it seems to connect me in some indirect way to the happiness of others, when I wish for them the very best.
Go about your day with best wishes for others.
