An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Mediocre Madness

Mediocrity

Why do so many people try to live with “mediocre madness”?

It is horribly contagious.

It is a killer.

It is a disease that infects the entire body.

One begins to settle for less and the madness sets in.

It affects the brain, which affects the heart.

Once the heart is diseased, little, outside of a transplant, can be done.

How to prevent “mediocre madness”?

Strike the word “mediocre” from your vocabulary.

Insert these words.

Passion, strive and excellent.

Be passionate and strive to be excellent.

Take the little and believe for much.

Got a banged up, 1995 Ford Contour, with a quarter panel missing, with wire coming out of the tires?

Be thankful for it, and drive it as though it is the Bright Red Mazda Miata Convertible you have always wanted?

Think you will never get the car loan paid off?

Send the loan officer an email that says something like, “Surely you and I have enough faith between us to believe God for $2,303.86.  It’s gonna happen.”

Think you will never get the right job?

The one God has designed just for you?

Be thankful for the chance today to prove Him faithful knowing that He is already opening the doors.

Still wondering how God paved the way for your child to not only get into college, but also provided the funding for it?

Be grateful, acknowledging that it was by no less than the hand of God.

Thank Him that you live in a nation that has the resources to provide student loans.

Do not believe in a small god.

Believe in an ALL GOD.

A God that has ALL resources available to Him.

A God that wants ALL the best for you.

A God that has and will continue to strengthen you to do ALL things through Him.

It is very possible in your life, that you may be too smart to believe God for the impossible in your life.

Everybody has an “impossible” in their life.

In the next few hours write down five faith items you are believing God for, that in His timing will allow you to be healed from “mediocre madness”.

“You can get anything – anything you ask for in prayer – if you believe.”  Matthew 21:22 (TLB)
