“Remember me, O my God, for good.”
Nehemiah 13:31 has been my life verse for several years.
Certainly none of us are perfect.
But shouldn’t we at least be attempting to live out a life of goodness?
There are benefits to establishing goodness wherever you go.
Here are ten of them from Proverbs 11.
Good?
“A good man is guided by his honesty.”
Bad?
“The evil man is destroyed by his dishonesty.”
Good?
“Good people are directed by their honesty.”
Bad?
“The wicked shall fall beneath their load of sins.”
Good?
The good man’s goodness delivers him.”
Bad?
“The evil man’s treachery is his undoing.”
Good?
God rescues good men from danger.”

Bad?

Let goodness be your theme today.
