An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

Hidden In The Most Unlikely Places

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.  Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.”

Roald Dahl – British Novelist

Such is the case with God as well.

Those who do not believe in God will never find Him.

I certainly do not understand all that connects faith to belief to reality.

However, I do understand that without belief there is nothing to establish what we believe in.

Does it make God any less real?

Absolutely not.

Disbelief of truth does not negate the truth.

It just means it is hidden from those who do not believe in the truth.

God has long since chosen the unusual and mysterious way to display His power.

He rarely selects the predictable and obvious option.

That is what we do.

He selects a path for our life that can at times only be seen in retrospect and then it makes perfect sense, even to us.

Be sensitive to the most unlikely places in your life that God might show up.

He very likely will use the unlikely to confound those who would otherwise likely not believe in anything less than the unlikely.

“Instead, God has deliberately chosen to use ideas the world considers foolish and of little worth in order to shame those people considered by the world as wise and great.”  1 Corinthians 1:27 (TLB)
