It’s Monday again.
This week you will have an opportunity to give someone advice.
Someone may be at a crossroads at their job, with their kids, with their spouse.
Someone may be struggling to make the right decision regarding a client.
“Is it time for my mother to move in with my immediate family?”
“What will the look of the company be under new management?”
“Will I even have a job?”
“Everything seems to be closing in on me, and I cannot escape.”
A co-worker can also be a friend.
A family member may be just the person they need.
You may sense someone at the next lunch table is weighed down with decisions.
And it may be a situation that you have experienced previously.
No experience gained is ever wasted or in vain.
If we learned from it, and we are willing to share that experience with others, then it was worth going through.
Make an impact.
Be sensitive to your environment.
Make a point to listen to what others are really saying.
Between the lines.
Aside from the mask of optimism.
A smile, a kind word, good advice in a timely manner may be exactly what they need for the week and for their life.
“Everyone enjoys giving good advice, and how wonderful it is to be able to say the right thing at the right time!” Proverbs 15:23 (TLB)
John
