On Memorial Day of 2014, I committed to myself to run the distance of a half marathon, 13.1 miles, on my 55th birthday, which is today.
I then extended that goal to 15.2 miles, then 16 miles.
Having just returned from my run today, and celebrating my birthday, I extended the mileage to 18.1, which I completed.
The next goal is to run 26.1 in November as part of the Atlanta Marathon.
I just want to encourage you today.
You can do what you set your heart and mind to do.
Ask God to give you a new outlook on your life.
To see how much he has in store for you.
He’s a big God.
He wants you to love big and go farther than you ever thought you could.
