To the point.
With no diplomacy.
Outside all boundaries of “safe”.
Do you ever feel that way?
You want to lay it out there?
You want to tell every single person in the world how you feel?
Most people do at some point.
I do right now.
So, I pose these questions.
When does love stop?
I do not believe it does.
Is it conditional?
No.
Does it know distance?
No.
Is it measured by frequency?
No.
Is it measured by height or depth?
No.
Is it always returned?
No.
Is it able to be hidden?
No.
It screams.
It bursts open.
It can not be contained.
It is an impossible to understand methodology of consistent yet unpredictable expressions of cataclysmic devotion.
It does not care that you do not love me as I do you.
It is not begun by a date of birth nor ended by a date of death.
The word “infinity” comes to mind.
The words “endless”, “forever” and “everlasting” frequent my thoughts.
No one has the capability to stop it nor the ability to create it.
It goes on and on and on and on.
And if you were to ask it, “Will you ever stop?”, you would hear the reply, “Not now…not ever.”
“I have never quit loving you and I never will.” Jeremiah 31:3
