Why did God feel the need to repeat this message over and over?
In the first chapter of Joshua it comes up multiple times.
It is easy to forget and we need to be reminded.
Today you may be beginning a new venture.
A new opportunity.
A difficult challenge.
Nervous?
Somewhat?
Where did your fearless spirit go you had just days before?
Where did the peace you had, maybe as recently as yesterday, disappear to?
Or did it disappear at all?
We each come into new territories at various times.
I would encourage you to re-read Joshua 1.
I know I will re-read it in just a few moments.
It has the same theme over and over again.
But here is the key.
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
What a fantastic promise.
Keep repeating the following.
“God will be with me wherever I go.”
It’s all we need.
You either believe it or you don’t believe it.
Say it over and over again.
“God will be with me wherever I go.”
Have a fantastic Thursday.
John
