An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

An Immovable Object

Large person wrestling

At some point you will encounter in your life what is perceived to be an immovable object.

But it’s not.

It is just that, a perception.

Look at the picture above.

No one in that picture believes that the kid in the red shorts can move the very large man, his apparent opponent.

Not the audience, not the kid in the red shorts and certainly not the very large man.

More than likely this photograph was staged as part of an event.

However, your immovable object is not staged.

It is real and it is large.

But just like the kid, you may be looking at the immovable object and already knowing you are defeated.

You’re not however.

You simply have not yet fully determined the weakness of your opponent, the strength of your own ability nor the source of your strength.

Each is important.

You are able to move it.

You just do not realize it yet.

“You could say to this mountain, ‘Move!’  and it would go far away.  Nothing would be impossible.”  Matthew 17:20 (TLB)
