There it was, right in front of me, in the parking lot, a Cadillac Escalade with the auto tag, “Perfect”.
The second thought in my mind was that I have been given a perfect life.
I am living the perfect life.
Because life has brought me few challenges? Hardly.
Because I have made all the right decisions? Certainly not.
I am an imperfect creature who worships a perfect Creator.
This morning I woke up to a beautiful sunrise…perfect.
I had physical strength and mental stability…perfect.
Not only did I have wonderful memories of yesterday, but I have a bright future headed for me tomorrow…perfect.
The ability to work and the opportunity to serve…perfect.
Faith, family and friends, all part of my day…perfect.
As we go into the weekend what am I most thankful for?
That my mother, now passed away, introduced me, even as I was in the womb, to a perfect Savior.
Because of his perfection, my imperfection, made perfect through Christ has given me the opportunity to break through and break down walls, overcome any obstacle, offer hope to the hopeless and on a consistent basis watch in awe and wonder, those around me who radiate the love of Christ.
I truly am living the perfect life because of His perfect faithfulness to me.
“O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For you have worked wonders. Plans formed long ago with perfect faithfulness. Isaiah 25:1
