It is now Sunday night, with Monday, fast approaching.
A new week is upon you, a week filled with the mundane and possibly the unanticipated. A week where the unexpected is more likely to happen than the expected.
New people, new challenges, some greater than what you currently think possible to overcome. But none of the challenges facing you this week are insurmountable.
The following verse is so applicable for a new week.
“Do not come near it, (meaning the Ark of the Covenant), that you may know the way by which you shall go, for you have not passed this way before.” Joshua 3:4
As you approach this new week, allow me to suggest the following prayer.
“God, though I want to feel that I have everything in control, I truly have no idea where this new week will take me. But wherever it takes me, let it be where you have already gone. And bring those people across my path that you intend for me to meet. And in meeting them, allow me the opportunity to speak of your love, your hope and your purpose for their life. Amen.”
Nothing earth shattering.
Just a reminder that if God does not go before us, we need not go at all.
