She may not have been having the greatest day of her life when she posted a Facebook status that said on that day she would choose to be happy and she would choose to love big. That phrase stuck with me. It would make a great t-shirt.
Choose happy…love big.
Sadly, some people will wake up tomorrow and choose to be sad and they will choose to love small. They will make a decision within their mind and heart to be less than what God intended for that day and will make sure by their decision that others are affected by their choice.
But not her. For some reason, on that day she refused to be less than what God intended. And on that day, whereever she went, others were affected by her concious decision to choose happy and love big.
There is a popular book that was out a few years ago, entitled The Five People You Meet In Heaven. It is a book of fiction and not about theology. However, I would suggest you purchase it and read it.
Readers Digest Version. The book is about a man who saves a life and when he gets to heaven he is introduced to people whose life was affected by him but not all of them did he even know had lived themselves.
In our own lives, we directly affect many people on a daily basis. However, on an indirect level we affect many people multiplied and often do not even know that we have extended our life into theirs.
So, tomorrow, at the beginning of a new week, make a choice in the morning.
Choose happy…love big.
