An Everyday Expression of Hope and Its Potential

An Everyday Expression of Hope

HOPE WITH EXPECTATION

January 3, 2012 by John Hembree Leave a Comment

Since last night’s entry people have responded with what they hope for in the new year.  Some of more personal so I will not add those here, others are personal but not so that they can not be published as part of the entry.

Miranda, (her real name), wrote last night what I felt was a beautifully written “hope list” for 2012.  Here it is.

I hope that this week as some of us college and career students will be attending Passion 2012 that we can go into it with our hearts open and ready to surrender our life to God and apply all the messages and testimonys to our own life!

I hope that this world can stop being so materialistic and focus more on God, family, morals & ethics

I hope that people will stop doing acts of hate and harm to others

I hope that I can be strong in my faith at times when I feel alone in a room full of people..

I hope that I will be willing to answer the call when God puts people in my path for a reason and I hope that threw me he can use to to make a positive impact in someone’s life

Jennifer at Gritz restaurant where I was having breakfast morning said this when I asked her how 2012 would be different than 2011.
She said:
I hope to spend more time with my family.
I hope to find my career.
I hope to once again become a firefighter.
I hope to open a homeless shelter in Henry County.
What is your “hope list” for 2012?
