They each said or wrote, “After all, tomorrow is another day.”
Scarlett O’Hara was stating what many of us often feel…I’ll be okay…just not today.
A job is lost, our parents age, children grow up and leave the safe boundary of our home, a spouse passes away, just four of the many events that can take our positive approach toward life into a negative downward spiral.
In researching this topic, I came across this quote, “My heart is broken into a million pieces. Better days will come, but they are not here now. Tomorrow will bring with it hope, but today, all I have is my grief.”
A realization of today yet a hope for tomorrow.
Each night, I go to bed, with the confidence that no matter how today went, great or not so great, tomorrow will be better.
That in the morning, around the bend, on the horizon, over the hill will be better days.
I have survived what seemed like an endless night with a quiet hope for the following day.
I knew tomorrow would be better, peace would come and the storm would cease.
Keep this thought on the forefront of your mind and heart.
For tomorrow that Lord will do a great miracle. Joshua 3:5
You can find hope for tomorrow through the promises that God has made for you today.
Be encouraged that the day after this…can be…must be…will be…better.
Tomorrow is on it’s way.
