Archives for March 2016
For me this day tops Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, New Years, birthdays and any of the other 364 days of the calendar year.
Of all days, on this day, no one can say you do not matter and nobody loves you.
You do matter and you are loved, and it was on this day that Christ said how much you do matter and how much you are loved.
Don’t overlook the importance and depth of this significant day.
We are often so quick to rush to the site of the Resurrection that we lose sight of the greatest act and sacrifice of love man has ever known.
If Christ had not died on Friday, He would not have risen on Sunday.
We just have to find it.
Consider this…from Genesis 6.
“When the Lord saw the extent of human wickedness, and that the trend and direction of men’s lives were only towards evil, he was sorry he had made them. It broke his heart.”
The disappointment and the negative experience.
However, three verses later it says this, “But Noah was a pleasure to the Lord.”
The positive outcome.
We have to find the Noah’s that we find pleasure in when it comes to people.
Unintentional wounds bleed as much as intentional wounds.
Unintended or intended there is pain involved.
Unintentional wounds causes scars that do not heal easily.
I must be mindful of my words…and ever careful of my actions.
May God guide my words and my actions as He guards my heart.
