One man, obviously among many, spoke up.
Two key words.
Another two key words.
He was a father.
Jenny is gone, Mama is dead and life has lost all of it’s wonder.
Forest sits there contemplatively and then stands up, and without any hesitation, steps off the porch and begins to run, and runs for over three years.
I have had moments in my life that were what I call Forest Gump moments.
I was in the middle of what is called a “Power Hour”, where the entire time is spent on the phone, talking to clients and potential job candidates.
Her voice was confident and the first thing she said after stating her name was, “I know I am not exactly what you are hoping to find for the job in Victorville, California.”
She was right.
She was not a perfect fit.
